onw world language school

We all recognize the importance of early language education. However, language is not a part of the curriculum in many schools, and, in many cases, it is difficult for teachers, administrators, and parents to find the time and resources implement a language program. The One World Language School can work with your school to provide a world language program. This is an economical way to bring comprehensive and fun language learning to your students.

Curriculum

The One World Language School has been developing games-based curriculum programs for more than 6 years. By bringing the One World Program to your school, your students will have access to a broad range of curriculum offerings.

Generally, the One World Program curriculum offerings build speaking, listening, and comprehension skills. The various curricula are designed in a way so that there is no leveling so that all children have access to the program. However, we have developed enough curriculum material that it is possible for a student to participate in the program for several years, learn a wide variety of vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills and never be bored!

Teachers

By bringing a One World Program to your school, your students will benefit from our experienced teachers who are all either native speakers or speakers with native-level fluency. Our teachers are also mentored by the One World Language School and attend One World Language School workshops.

Program Management

We have been managing language programs since 2003. Our program management team will work with your school administration to set up the program and then we will take over the details of the day-to-day management such as the registration and class placement process, the financial assistance program, scheduling, and parent communication. We will also conduct parent education sessions so that parents know how to effectively participate in their child’s language education.

Site Coordinator

Our Site Coordinator will handle the details each week to make sure that everything runs smoothly. In addition, our Site Coordinator will be responsible for any on the ground troubleshooting.

Scheduling and Program Length

We can tailor the schedule and program length to your school’s needs and interests. We offer after-school language learning programs once a week for the duration of the academic year (30 weeks) or for shorter time periods during school hours as an enrichment program. We can also conduct shorter pilot programs to first gauge interest and build enthusiasm for a longer program. It all depends on what the families in your community and your school administration want in terms of a language program.

Cost

Generally, the students’ families pay the fees for the One World Program, but it is certainly possible to work with a school and divide the fees between the school or PTO and the families.

In terms of the fees for a One World Program in your school, this will mainly depend on the length of your particular program. Our goal is to make our programs as affordable as possible but still recognize the need to provide a high-quality education.

Scholarships

The One World Language School has a strong commitment to promoting language and cultural education. It is our mission to provide affordable language and cultural education to all children regardless of their socio-economic circumstances. Therefore, we commit 10% of the revenue from your school’s One World Program toward scholarships for your students.
